Job Description

This is an exceptional opening for a Senior Technical Automation Support Professional responsible for delivering stronger customer satisfaction with the Technical Support resolving cases by working closely within a International team.

The Technical Automation Support Advisor will support the full portfolio of ABB, Emerson Electric, Siemens and Honeywell control system products. This will include supporting, diagnosing & fault-finding, depending on their international customers, ranging from different sectors.

Requirements

  • Working within a team delivering customer satisfaction excellence for the selected system areas and that the matter has been resolved before the case is closed (in SFDC).
  • Making sure each customer has technical engagement and that the issues and symptoms and resolved and reported correctly.
  • You will ensure that each customer’s experience meets the high standard of Technical Support.
  • You will improve the case handling process by developing Data Collection Guidelines, Audit Documents and other tools.
  • You will actively participate in product readiness from a Technical Support perspective (NPI, product training availability, test equipment, software access etc).
  • You will work with Technology to ensure that product issues are being addressed according to agreed customer communication and resolution time frames.
  • Working knowledge of: OPC – Object linking and embedding for personal computers; PCDI – Ideally and knowledge of CDA.
  • Ability to support migrations in progress via remote connections
