Solution Architect - Financial Service

My client, based in Scotland are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join their team - the role is predominately a remote role

Typically, successful Solution Architects in this role have had experience in either of the following: Core Banking, Telephony, Cloud Migrations Software Engineering experience e.g. JEE, HTML5, REST API, SOAP, Android, iOS, NODE.js, Knowledge of security standards including SAML, OAuth and OpenID Connect

This is a 6 month contract, inside IR35 - you must operate via an Umbrella

Responsibilities

Delivering domain roadmaps which inform technology decisions and shape and align the investment portfolio ensuring it delivers the target architecture
Producing solution designs for significant use cases/projects, as agreed internally
Applying appropriate due diligence to ensure quality solution designs are produced that are compliant with policy and standards and are aligned with domain road map
Develop and technical landscapes change
Proven Solution Design / Architecture experience
Excellent technical understanding and ability for logical thinking
Good interpersonal and presentation skills
Experience of guiding solution design though governance and service processes
TOGAF, Archimate or COBIT highly beneficial
